Moreover, the larvae transform into beetles in the same way that the soul and body change appearance. The tomb scarab’s wings depict the sun god and the mythical first Pharaoh Osiris. Above them, the moon flanked by two Wedjat eyes. On the bottom, Isiris stands between his sister Nepththys and his wife Isis.
