"Watering can" wall covering
If the typical play of shadows and lights in Dany Chevalier’s works is very elaborated in this composition, the prospective which is the other usually obvious characteristic of her paintings is very limited here. This creation is particular because it does not suggest a long opening towards the outdoor but creates rather a closed and intimate extension to the room where it is hanged, as a patio or a small inner courtyard.
Ballasted with two bars (one at the top and one below) and provided with a hanging system of 2 eyelets hidden behind the canvas, this wall covering fit and get moved very easily.

Contemporary painter Dany Chevalier took back the creation and the manufacturing of her wall coverings under her own name and no longer under Mary Oliva Cork name. However, she has retained all her magic, her talent as well as all the subtle perfumes that still emanate from her sweet compositions bathed in sunshine. When we discovered these paintings linen we fell in love with their elegance and their simplicity so special. Using light and shadow, Dany Chevalier's trompe l'oeil creates a perspective that brightens and enlarges a room or a wall.
