Born in 1957, Maricke, french sculptor, learned in various Parisian art schools. He draws his inspiration from the countries he has traveled to, in particular Côte d'Ivoire, Burkina-Faso, Italy... His exhibitions have taken him to the United States, South America, Guyana and even in Brazil, thus enriching his study of mineral and vegetable matters. His work, in the solitude of his studio, feeds on perfectionism and is part of the tradition of craftsmen. Maricke expresses himself through the work of material and patina, and refines every detail to create unique and rare works, celebrating femininity and elegance.
